Passages Courtesy of WhySanity.net an
amazingly awesome site go to it!!!
- Gollum/Smeagol: We wants it. We needs it. Must have the
precioussss. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitsesss. Wicked,
trickssssy, falssse! No! Not Master. Yes, precious. False. They will
cheat you, hurt you, lie. Master’s my friend. (taunting) You
don’t have any friends. Nobody likes YOU... Not listening. Not listening.
You're a liar and a thief. (shaking his head) Nope. Mur...derer...!
(starts to cry and whimper) Go away. Go away!
(cackles) Hahahahaha! (cries, whispering) I hate you, I
hate you. (fiercely) Where would you be without me? Gollum, Gollum.
I saved us. It was me. We survived because of me! (resolute)
Not anymore. (surprised) What did you say? Master looks after us
now. We don’t need you. What? Leave now and never come back. No!!!
(louder) Leave now and never come back! (bares teeth,
growling) Arghhhh! LEAVE NOW AND NEVER COME BACK. (Smeagol
pants and looks around for Gollum) We... we told him to go away!
And away he goes, preciousss. (dances around, happily)
Gone, gone, gone! Smeagol is free!
- Sam: I know. It’s all wrong. By rights we shouldn’t even be here.
But we are. (stands, leans against a wall, looking out into the distance)
It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full
of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the
end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the
way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing
thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the
sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed
with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why.
But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had
lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. Because they were holding
on to something.
- Coach Boone: I'm not going to talk to you tonight about winning and
losing. You're all winners because you didn't kill each other up at camp.
Tonight we got Hayfield. Like all the other schools in this conference,
they're all white. They don't have to worry about race. We do. But we're
better for it, men. Let me tell you something -- you don't let anything,
nothing come between us. Nothing tears us apart.
In Greek mythology the Titans were greater even than the gods. They ruled
their universe with absolute power. Well, that football field out there
tonight, that's our universe. Let's rule it like Titans!
- Randy: Wh-what did you say? That's why she always out smarted the
killer in the big chase scene at the end. Only virgins can do that, don't you
know the rules?
Stu: What rules?
Randy: Jesus Christ, You don't know the rules??
Stu: Have an aneurysm why don't you!
Randy: There are certain rules you must abide by in order to
successfully survive a horror movie. For instance. Number one, you can never
have sex. Big no-no, big no-no.
Stu: I'd be a dead man!
Randy: Sex equals death okay? Number two, you can never drink or do
drugs. No sin factor. This is sin. It's an extension of number one. Number
three, never never ever under any circumstances do you ever say I'll be right
back cause you won't be back.
Stu: I'm getting another beer you want one?
Randy: Yeah sure.
Stu: I'll be right back!
All: Ooooo!!
Randy: You push the laws and you end up dead! I'll see you in the
kitchen with a knife!
- Peter Parker: Who am I? You really want to know? The story of my
life is not for the faint of heart. If somebody said it was a happy little
tale, that I was just a normal everyday guy, not a care in the world, somebody
lied. But let me assure you, this story, like any story worth telling, is all
about a girl. That girl. Mary-Jane Watson. The girl I loved since before I
even liked girls. (we see Flash Thompson with his arm around Mary-Jane)
I wish I could say that was me next to her. (we see a fat guy eating a
donut) Heck, I'd even take him. (we next see Peter running along the
outside of the bus) That's me.
- Proximo: I am Proximo! I shall be closer to you in the next few
days than that bitch of a mother who brought you screaming into the world. And
just as she was there to bring you into the world, so I shall be when you
leave it. I did not pay good money for your lives, I bought you so I could
profit from your deaths. And when you die---and die you shall---it shall be to
the sound of.... (puts his hands together and softly claps) Gladiators,
I salute you.
-
President Whitmore: In less than an hour, aircraft from here will
join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest
aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind....that word should have
new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed with our petty
differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps,
it's fate, today is the fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting
for our freedom. Not from tyranny, oppression or persecution. But from
anniliation. We're fighting for our right to live...to exist. Should we win
today, the fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday.
But as the day when the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly
into the night...we will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on!
We're going to survive! Today, we celebrate our independence day!"
